After a graduation in mechanical engineering at the University of Bologna, he began working on patents in 1999, and for twenty years was an employee and partner of a leading industrial property consulting firm.

In 2019, he and other partners founded Ixnea s.r.l., of which he is also a director.

He is registered in the Register of Italian and European Patent Attorneys and Italian and Community Design Attorneys.

He is registered in the Roll of CTUs of the Court of Bologna for whose Specialized Section in Business Matters he has been working since 2005 as a consultant to the Judge in disputes involving patents, design and know-how.

Trained professionally with companies in the packaging-valley of Emilia, over the years he has dealt with technical issues concerning automatic and packaging machines, machine tools, biomedical devices, hinges for household appliances and mechanics in general, and then refined his knowledge in the world of textiles once he returned to Tuscany.

Passionate about architecture and furniture, he has always been involved in design protection, following important clients in the industry for many years.
